Hi, I have a 2016 skoda fabia active 1 litre. I mistakenly put 4 lts in, instead of 3.4 lts. Drove about 6 miles / 10km, realised and drained 600ml out. Am I ok, or should I do a complete oil change again. Any advice appreciated.
1) 505.01 is the pd engine oil suitable for Skoda fabia vrs 1.9td. Engine oil with this specification is available or was in 5w30 or 5w40. Q. This has been superseded with 5w30 507.00 low saps which can be used in fabia pd engine? 2) Now the bit I am clueless about. Can I use a 507.00 oil that is 0w 30 when the manufacturer recommends 5w 30 grade?

. 1) 1x Oil Pressure sensor 047-919-081B (£5.80 from my local TPS, check it does have the copper Washer too) 2) 1x 24m Spanner. 3) 1x Screwdriver etc to unclip the connector. 4) Drain pan/bucket , I did this on a stone cold engine, so had minimal oil flow/spillage, but its worth using a bucket to catch any drops of oil. 5) Degreaser & Rags

The two most common grades of engine oil are 5W-30 and 5W-40. The former tends to be used in newer petrol engines, whereas the latter is more suitable for older or diesel engines. 5W-30 and 5W-40 are compatible with many models of common cars, including the Ford Ka, Ford Focus (pictured below), VW Golf, Skoda Fabia and Honda Civic.
